Medical Questions - Diagnosed with Cancer?

Cysts are seldom a problem, and often not treated unless they enlarge substantially. It doesn't say if fluid from the cysts was drawn and biopsied. The "ca bladder" usually stands for cancer of the bladder, although I would have to see the report, obviously. Hydronephrosis means that some sort of obstruction is causing flow of urine from the kidney to the bladder to back up. You don't say whether the doctor is an oncologist or a urologist. Obviously, you and/or your mother-in-law need to follow this up. Get an appointment and insist that every item on this report be explained to you in detail, as well as advised treatment. Be sure and get a second opinion as well. You need to be proactive, and sometimes pushy with doctors to get the answers you need. Don't back down until you get the information you need.
