How do you turn the whitewash fence on Farmville?

It does allow it. You have to have clicked on the arrow, so don't have any of your tools out or anything. Then, you simply click on the fence and there will be a couple of options that pop up. I think they are delete, rotate, and move. Just click rotate and the piece of fence will turn the other way.
