I'm needing some new foundation?

I am 16 and hardly ever wear foundation because my skin has always been okay without it but I'd like to get some for prom etcetera and I'd like to start wearing it during the day so yeah I was just wondering if there are any that you recommend and also if I were to go into a drugstore like Boots would they be able to help me choose a colour that matched my skin? The last thing I want is to turn out orange, thanks in advanced! (Price range is roughly �20.00)
