Starting a charity project?

i pionately love clothes and fashion. to me, the way you feel when you put something on and it feels and looks perfect is unbeatable. the truth, though, is that many people don't have the money to afford clothing they can feel good about. i want to start a charitable project to help bring these people new or gently used clothing they can feel good about when they wear. i know ways to attain clothing i would be able to use for this project, but not much else about a charity project. any help or advice on this would be greatly appreciated. thanks!
