What type of insect is this?

I was curious , it's coloring is like a bumble bee.It has a tail which moves like a crayfish,it's wings beat fast like a hummingbird and its beak is shaped like a needle.Also like a hummingbird.It was flying around with bumble bees on our erfly bush outside. It's about 3 to 4 inches long? Do you know what it is?
