I think if the detective really had any idea where Maddy was or who had taken her, they certainly wouldn't tell the press and warn the abductors. That would be just plain stupid. I mean suppose this report is right..do they really believe that Maddy will be kept in the same place after advertising they know who has her and where she is? Load of bull.... in my opinion.
