Cramping at 6 weeks? Is this normal?

This is my first pregnancy. I'm experiencing a lot of cramping...not bad cramping, but almost constant. Its like a pulling sort of feeling. My lower back is also hurting. Is this normal? I just wanna make sure I'm experiencing normal feelings. I am seeing a doctor Monday, but I'd love some affirmation from someone who has been there. Thanks in advance!
