Decorative stone siding to cover cinder block?

I have a cinder block front porch which I would like to cover with a stone look. Does anyone know is covering with the stone siding an option, or is there another way to get this look or something similiar. Everyone else says just to paint the cinder block but I do not wish to have that look in the front of my home. Any suggestions? Thanks
