First Pet Rat, Help/Tips/Guides/Advice please?

Just got my first rat, I adopted her a day ago. Shes very young (probably about a few weeks old), and was hardly handled. I have no clue how to get her to be close to me. I know some basics, but I am still a noob. She never bites, and gets hyper when out of cage, however she shivers and gets very scared when I get near her. Some advice/guide/tips/help on products, handling, and so on will be highly appreciated.Help Twinkie (my orange and white rat) be a real twinkie! (not the food, I will never eat my lovely rat) ~~
